Amber’s Icons is a senior rep program for high school juniors interested in senior photography and senior pictures throughout Berrien and Van Buren counties.
I’m so excited to officially open applications for Amber’s Icons, my Class of 2027 senior rep team. This is a fun, creative opportunity for high school juniors who enjoy being in front of the camera, want a sneak peek into the senior photography experience, and are excited to help represent my brand throughout the year.
I’m looking for students from a variety of high schools across Berrien and Van Buren counties, and homeschoolers are absolutely welcome. Diversity in schools, styles, and personalities is important to me, and I want this team to reflect that.
Selected reps will participate in a styled model shoot this April and will receive all edited images from the shoot that they are pictured in. These images are yours to use and share to help spread the word about Amber Karrels Photography, and they may also be used for promotional purposes on my end. As part of being an Icon, reps are asked to share at least three separate posts, stories, or a combination of both to help promote the business, making sure to tag me in each one (Amber Karrels Photography on Instagram). All required sharing must be completed by July 1, 2026.
Because this is a rep program, Icons must be active on Instagram and comfortable sharing their images publicly. This program is not a good fit for students who do not use Instagram or are unable to post and tag consistently.
In addition, reps will receive 50 percent off a Classic Senior photography session during their senior year. Throughout the year, there may be additional model opportunities that pop up, and rep team members will always be my first go to.
Because this is a small, intentional team, I can only accept a limited number of students. I’ll be finalizing the Class of 2027 rep team by March 15, and every applicant will hear from me, whether or not they are selected.
To apply, please complete the application form and have a parent or guardian fully on board. As this is a formal rep program, model releases and contracts will be required, and parent signatures will be needed before participation is confirmed.
